Adam and I are both going through identity crises of epic proportions as we Transition from who we were, and discover who we were meant to be. More Fae are dying, and I feel as if time is running out for us to find all of those responsible and put an end to the killings.

The people I thought I could trust have betrayed me and the one person I should absolutely not trust; is taking me deeper and deeper into his world.

Ryder’s secrets are dangerous and devastating.

With each touch and word, he pulls my heart closer to himself and at the same time he is trying to keep me at arm’s length. The dance he and I have begun, is getting more complicated as our worlds are being shaken from all sides, and the visions of the future are frightening, and nothing like I had ever pictured for myself or those I care for.

This time, destiny is taunting me.

I had always thought that I controlled my destiny. Now, my rights are being taken from me by powerful people and leaving me with alternatives that range between bad and awful.

This time, the choices I have to make can decide the fate of both worlds.

Everything is unraveling, and nothing will ever be the same again.

***Amber – #NerdGirlAmbz’s Review***
When I read the first book I disliked Syn. She just annoyed me, but after this book I have completely changed my mind. Syn is a total badass. A woman who refuses to just follow her man and take orders. I see more of her blossom in this installment and I absolutely love it! I have definitely come around to her side.

Ryder is still my heart! He is the definition of alpha male. His constant possessive demands toward Syn is hilarious. He knows he can’t control her by any means, but he still wants her so badly.

This installment surpassed the first book. I love how vivid the author portrays not only the characters, but each and every scene. The words she chooses seems as if she spent hours pondering each one making sure the end game was perfection.

If you’re looking for your typical romance story where the girl gets swept off her feet, they defeat evil and live happily ever after. Then this is not the series for you. It’s more complex than that and that’s why I love it! The twists, turns and chaos of this book is just the tip of the ice berg. Not to mention the cliff hanger that will literally leave you SCREAMING! 5 stars!
