Have you ever heard of the old Celtic legends of the Fae – beautiful, magical, deadly and a love of messing with humans just for kicks and giggles?
Welcome to my world.
What started out as a strange assignment, leads to one of the most gruesome murder mysteries of our times and my friends and I are set and determined to find out who is killing off Fae and Witches alike.
Couple of problems in the way – I hate the Fae and the Prince of the Dark Fae is bound and determined that I work for him. He’s a rude, overbearing egotistical ass with a compulsive need to possess, dominate and control me. Oh – did I mention that he is absolutely sex-on-a-stick gorgeous and he makes me feel things that I never ever wanted to feel for a Fae…every time he touches me or looks at me with those golden eyes seems to pull me further in under his spell, despite my better judgment.
My friends and I can’t trust anyone and nothing is as it seems on the surface – not even me.
The main character just really annoyed me truly. Yet at the same time I found her intriguing. It was like a Howard stern moment. Even if you don’t like him, you still listen to see what he will say next. That’s how I felt about Synthia. Even though I didn’t really care for her, I couldn’t stop reading to see what happened next. Even with my lack of enthusiasm for her, I still loved the story.
Now as for Ryder the dark prince… I just have one thing to say. YUMMY!! I absolutely love this character and I am currently going through withdrawal because of it. Hehehe
From magical creatures, to mystery, mayhem and murder. This author takes you on one incredible roller coaster ride. Not to mention some steamy scenes!!!
The story line is fantastic and the magical creatures portrayed in this book are so incredible. The fact that the author can take so many different mythological creatures and insert them into our normal every day world the way she did… speaks volumes on her writing talent! I would absolutely recommend this book and I am looking forward to reading the next installment.
