***Stephenee – #NerdGirlSteph’s Review***
This is book 2 in The Rains series and you really need to read book 1 to fully understand everything that is going on. This is the continuation and conclusion to book 1 (The Rains). This is not author Gregg Hurwitz’s usual genre, however, he knocks it out of the park!

This story starts off right where book 1 ends and the reader has no problem picking right back up where they left off. The story that the reader makes up in their mind doesn’t even come close to the actual story that the author creates for us. This book will get the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions – be prepared to cry, ugly cry, yell, scream and at times want to curse the author. The ride is unpredictable and is not one in which the reader will be able to figure out. Be prepared to go through loops, curves, twists and turns and barely make it to end without being proven wrong on more than one occasion.

Be prepared to do nothing else once you start reading this book – It will grab your attention and there will not be a stopping point for you. You won’t want to stop at any point…you won’t want to leave the story, the world the author creates or Big Rain, Little Rain and Alex…you will need to know what happens next!! This is one of the best 2 book series that I have read in a long time – don’t let the alien/zombie aspect stop you from picking up this book – They are epic – think Stranger Things on crack and you have this series.
