“Depression is a funny thing. Just when you think you have defeated it, and things are looking up, it comes out of hiding to play with your mind. Leaving you to wonder why you’re even living. Wednesday Emmerson was no stranger to depression. Her life has always been one traumatic event after another. When she meets Brian, she thinks her life has finally made the turn around she so desperately needed. Then he leaves her after three years, with no explanation or goodbye, and she is left once again to wonder where she went wrong in life. When she feels likes she can no longer fight in the ever pending battle with her own mind, she makes a rash decision that will change her life for ever, and will bring her news that she never expected to hear. Everything else that follows is just another day in paradise.”
**Reviewer Notes – self mutilation, suicide attempts **
Wednesday is an amazing character. Mrs. Cash did a tremendous job with writing this character. Loosing so much including all who stand by you. That’s enough in itself to force anyone down a dark path. Continuously having things force you backwards is hell in itself. Wednesday’s battle inside her own head is half this book. Her own inner demons leading her down a dark path that she fears she may never come out of. I can NOT even give you details because I will NOT spoil anything. I think EVERYONE should read this book!!
An eye opening, insightful, deep and captivating story. One that reaches the heart and soul. One that touches you on a real level. With grace and beautifully written characters, this book is a MUST read! Go read!!! Now!!
5 STARS!! Bravo!!
