Dragon Lightning is book 2 in The Dragon Dreamer series. It’s a fast-paced adventure with flying dragons, an undersea world, and unlikely friendships. This science fantasy is layered for readers age 9 to adult.

Drakor seems like a normal young ice dragon with a talent for making lightning swords. But he alone feels the changing heart of his island Volcano. It destroyed his beloved sire. Now he foresees their doom, but none will listen. As he seeks proof, the Volcano shakes him off into the frozen sea . . .

Arak was mocked as a worthless dreamer until he and Scree, a fearless undersea misfit, saved the dragons. Now dragons and octopi sail north in search of mythical ice dragons. They find Drakor and a terrifying reality. When Scree enters the abyss to check his volcano, she discovers everyone is in peril. Can this crew of unlikely friends save three realms?

***Kat, #NerdGirlKat Review***
Grab your family, wetsuits, and some honey roasted nuts as you settle in for an amazing snowy adventure! Scree, Orm, Arak, Taron, and all the favorites return in this amazing new adventure. Our skiff flying friends meet a Legendary Ice dragon on their travels to secure resources for their pods and clans. New love blossoms in this tale as we battle monstrous ice mountains that fall into the sea, return of the giant squids. On their travels they learn of another legendary clan of dragons. Although we never see them, the legends of the Sunset Dragons is so very intriguing. A new task is at hand, this could be a new beginning or a sad end. As a book designed for any age, there is a fountain of information about the beautiful creatures of the sea. Reading this with your young dragonlets will help them gain a love for the life under the sea. Also there are some amazing life lessons hidden in the story. Never let anyone tell you what you are capable of, never judge one based on their appearance, seeking understanding is more valuable than acting in rage. I think these books should be read in schools all over the country. Amazing!
