***Gladys, #NerdGirlOfficial Review***
Black Widow: Forever Read is a thrill ride through a moment in time where Natasha Romanoff is being questioned by authorities. I thought the questioning phase in the beginning of the chapters was genius. It set the stage for the chapter and you get the snarky remarks from the Black Widow.

Margaret Stohl brought life to the pages in this book. She throws you into action and you find yourself immersed in the book. You also find other emotions who sets your heart beating at a fast pace.

The story begins with how she saves a young Ava Orlova in a backdrop of how the famed Black Widow worked a case. This one being personal because it encompasses the man, Ivan Somodorov, who once trained her in a military experiment called the Red Room. She saves young Ava and then leaves. Not before she gives the child a message.

Back to present day, We see how Ava escapes the compound she was put in after her rescue in order to keep her safe and we find her in NY. She spends much time thinking of the Black Widow. Her savior she once considered her sister. Both being a product of the Red Room. Both being strong minded women with red hair. But Black Widow never came back for her…

Until Now. Ava and Natasha must navigate through the web of kidnappings that they both believe to be their old captor. Natasha, The Black Widow, suspects that Ava is the key to the investigation. All the while they unravel the past that made them who they are today. And ultimately leads them to the boy Ava has been seeing in her dream.

I enjoyed this book. The way it played out was interesting and the characters well developed. BUT really! Do you expect anything less from the woman who was the co-writer of the Beautiful Creatures series?? Nope.

5 Star Read! I tip my Nerd Girl hat to you!!
