Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
I honestly do not know where, to begin with, my review. Other than that was a fantastic ride filled with twist and turns. My mind is still trying to process everything, but I purchased the audible just so I can listen to it often when I can’t reread.
This book concludes the main portion of Court of Thornes and Roses series (Don’t cry there are spin-offs) and I am totally sated. Everything was tied in perfectly BUT there are still some unanswered questions. I am hoping the spin-offs will answer them for me!! Book. Slump. Over.
In this heart-wrenching book, I went from elated to broken with every page I turned. The King is on his way and I kept hearing the Wizard of Oz tune when the Wicked Witch comes twirling around my head. Rhysand is tense. He needs his mate. All the while the High Lady of the Night Court, Feyre, is in the Spring court pretending to be Tamlin’s faithful consort until she can get as much information from the High Lord she once loved.
Once she returns to the Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court, to whom she is mated with (not without blood and guts, mind you), she finds one sister broken and one sister with power from the very thing they fear most!! It is up to the night court to bring down their guard, expose their weaknesses and convince everyone that they are truly the ones that dream!
I. Must. Stop. Here. If I go on, then I will tell you everything and I just can’t. You must read, listen, read, listen and then read for yourself. It is an experience you can not miss!!!
Sarah J Maas, you get the all the stars, and the moon for midnight beauty of A Court of Wings and Ruin! I am totally in love with you! My Nerd Girl hat is tipped to you once again!
