Synopsis

There are those who chant the eldritch songs, who wait at the angled gates, who gather in blasted, nameless places to celebrate the return of the great Old Ones. For centuries, for millennia, their tales have not been told. Within these haunted pages you will find their stories of yearning, terror, murder, and a faith that defies the commonplace understanding of humanity. Come and see what really goes on at Miskatonic University.

***Cianna, #NerdGirlSunshine’s   Review***
Before reading some of these anthologies that H. David Blalock edited, I only knew a little of Lovecraft lore, but each time I pick up another of these anthologies, I dive deeper into this world. The writing is outstanding in all the the stories, and the go so well together. I enjoy anthologies because you can pick them up, and put them down between stories, but I didn’t want to do that with this one! Each story was really engaging so I wanted to keep reading more and more. There are some really chilling tales of the creatures in this place, and I would recommend not reading at night if you have an overactive imagination like I do.
All in all, another well edited, and great collection of Eldritch creature tales. All the writing really came alive for me when reading, and I would recommend it to any fans of this genre.
