A forbidden love, a sacred bloodline, and a powerful gift plagues the last remaining descendant with an unspeakable burden and an unforgivable fate.

Seventeen-year-old Elizabeth Anne Morgan is no stranger to the paranormal world. Haunted by voices and visions for most of her young life, she begins to question her sanity as a teen, setting her apart as an outcast in school. In quatrains and sacred manuscripts, a Chosen One is prophesied. Yet, Elizabeth does not know the secret her small hometown of Caneadea has in store for her. In her senior year of high school, Elizabeth meets two strangers, both who know her secret and who turn her world upside down. Meanwhile, her only friend Freddie, loyal and devoted, stands quietly in the shadows of her life as she begins to unfold the mystery of who she is destined to become.

Good Vs Evil

A great start to what I think will be a really good series. LJ Amadeo has a writing style that will keep you reading.

Beth has terrible headaches. She hears voices. She thinks she is going crazy and being an outcast doesn’t help matters. Beth thinks she is alone until the new girl in town befriends her and the new guy has his eye on her as well. However it’s no coincidence that they both show up in her life at the same time. Beth is thrown into a struggle between good and evil, angels and demons.

This book definitely has it’s edge of the seat moments but there are other parts that are slow, but did not take away from the story. It did end on a major cliffhanger though! So if you like your stories all wrapped up with a bow are the end, skip this one!
