Kari is ripped from our world and thrown into a terrible future where safety is hard to come by and the very concept of freedom is hanging by a thread. Only a few years after massive destruction, Earth is a wasteland. The powers-that-be have an abundance of futuristic technology at their fingertips to keep the survivors in line, and the life they live is bleak. Though she knows her mysterious companion used some kind of magic power to time travel, he refuses to explain much more about her situation. She is forced to dig deep and discover how strong she really is capable of being.

Little does she know, there is far more to her story than even she could imagine.

***Valerie – #NerdGirlVal’s  Review***
I opened the book to the Prologue and thought I would just read that while I made dinner. Well 11 chapters later and at midnight, I finally put the book down. Yes it is that good! The prologue captures you and you sail along finding excitement, suspense, action and mystery.
Kari finds herself in the future with a man that knows her very well, but she has no clue who he is. The world is nothing like she last saw it. Full of violence, mindless people and haterid of the Government. She finds herself in a cave system until it is raided and she has to flee with this man, who she does not trust or know. He takes her over waist land that use to be the States. The goverenment kills anyone who won’t follow them. But yet he tells her that he can keep her save, trust him, yea right! Kari asked so many questions, but got no answers. All she heard is he will tell her when it’s safe. She had no idea where she was going, or going to end up. All she wanted was to go home!
Kari discovers why he wouldn’t tell her anything and she was really surprised. She knew a few people when they got to the city. But they weren’t the same as before. Can they send her home?
I was sucked in right away. This steady paced story will have you asking even more questions then Kari. They is a mystery amongest the pages. I was racing through the pages to see what was going to happen and I got To Be Continued, WHAT??????? No!!!!! Yes this book is that good!!
BOOK 2???????
