***Valerie – #NerdGirlVal’s  Review***
WOW! This book was, oh so good! When you think of Clockwork or Steampunk, you think of huge flying machines or mechanical giant of some kind. But the author made this story so all ages could enjoy it. A cat that has clockwork is unusual and I love it!
Cali is just your ordinary rescued street cat, loved by her friend Lionel Clogg. He is a tinker with inventions. He enhanced Cali to be a better cat. By using small parts, she could run faster, jump higher and see better. Cali was very proud of her clockwork.
Cali and her mouse friend Emmit, yes mouse friend, take it upon themselves to save the Golden Owl from a very sinister wealthy man. They take on his machines to save it. Do they? How can a cat and mouse do that? Well you will just have to read it to find out.
I enjoyed this book so much and hope that Cali and Emmit have more adventures. I would love to see what they could get into next. I foresee a Wedding and Cali and Emmit have to save the day somehow. If you love cats, this book is for you! If you are new to Clockwork or Steampunk. this book is for you! Enjoy!!
