Determined to study ancient Dacian folk lore abroad, Marilyn Reddlin’s plans are cut short when she is abducted by a dark haired stranger who insists she’s in danger. The only danger she’s in is losing herself to her abductor’s inexplicable seductive energy. Draylon Conier teaches her there is more to Romania than myth and fairy tales while sweeping her into a wild adventure of paranormal mystery and intrigue.
Thousands of years trying to pay back a debt, Draylon Conier is finally able to do so. Sent to capture a young, American student who is in danger while in Romania, he just has to send her back home. Easy enough for him. Unfortunately, Marilyn Reddlin is determined to thwart his every attempt—even telepathy. But there is more to her than meets the eye and the closer he gets to her, the more danger she is in, not only from the ancient immortal Dacian clans he’s trying to protect her from, but also his own sexual need.
History just got a lot harder.
They must find out what connection Marilyn has to Dacian history before Draylon destroys her when she succumbs to Immortal Heat.
We follow two main characters in this story. Marilyn, a sheltered and yet well read young woman. She is dead set on studying ancient Dacian folk lore. Ever so eggar to learn about her fathers origins in Romania and share research with a certain professor. Although when she arrives she doesn’t exactly get what she expects. In comes Draylon, an immortal. Fierce, protective and strong. A man who’s not only breath taking, but someone straight from a legend itself. A man sent to protect Marilyn from the dangers to come. The journey in which these to partake is one filled with excitement, danger, entertainment, personal growth, survival and love.
Throughout the story you can sense from the first meeting the unbelievable chemistry these two have on the pages as you read. You will instantly start to cheer on these two as a couple! I found myself doing just that. Lol
What Marilyn thought was going to be a learning experience with books and research, turned into a growing experience and a fight for her life. Not only does she help Draylon grow emotionally, but she herself discovers who she truly is. With twists and turns, danger around every corner and love in the air… This book has a little bit of everything for everyone.
Loni did an exceptional job creating an immortal fantasy world in which you become sucked into. I am excited to read the next installment of this series. I recommend this book for all sci-fi, paranormal, mystery and romance lovers! You won’t regret reading this page turner!
