I’m finally living a life worth living. I have three handsome sons and a husband that would take on the world for me. All the trials I faced in the past seem like a distant memory. I overcame my depression from growing up in a broken home and moved past a shattered heart from my first love. It took time, but I made it through.

Three knocks on my door.
One surprise visit.
One person, who I thought was gone forever.

Nothing will be the same.

***Stephenee – #NerdGirlSteph’s  Review***
This is author Elizabeth Wills’ debut novel and it is an amazing one! She really gives off the vibe of a much more seasoned author. If I didn’t know any better then I would have assumed that this was more like her 5th, 6th or even higher novel. I am already looking forward to the next book by this author!

The author does an amazing job with the characters. I felt like I knew Reagan in real life. I could relate to her pain, her panic attacks and her feelings of abandonment. I envied the relationship that she had with her husband Dalton. It felt like I had known them for years. Enter Stryker and even then, when I wanted to be mad at Reagan, I couldn’t. I could empathize with her and her pain, confusion and heartbreak. The author did an extraordinary job with making Reagan likable despite the choices that she must make. I often times was jealous of the R & R time in the story making me wish that I was there!

The plot was not wholly original and the reader could at times predict what was coming, but it was so well written and fast paced that they didn’t mind. They still wanted to keep going…and keep going I did anyway. I enjoyed the build up to the end and then once the end came I was a bit mad that the cliffhanger was what it was, but I will quickly get over it and move on to book 2.

I truly enjoyed this book despite what some may see as negatives and it is one of those books that stick with you after you have finished reading it. I feel like it is a perfect summer read, lying in the sun with a good book type of read….but really you can and should read it anywhere! It is just one of those “You can’t explain, but just do it” reads! Add this to your TBR list and you won’t be sorry!! Enjoy!
