***THIS BOOK WAS PROVIDED TO NERD GIRL IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***
Katie’s life has always been a mess. She was abandoned as a baby, left to be raised in the human foster care system. Never knowing what she truly is. Things change when she is hired to hunt down Paul Ivers. She may not know what he has done, but she does know he is extremely handsome and dangerous.
My only issues with the book were the slow start to the book and the fact that the author seemed to avoid contractions. It made the flow of the book stilted at times and the dialogue choppy and unnatural. It just didn’t seem to really fit the characters to me and I believe one would have to concentrate really hard to not have a single contraction in the whole book. I apologize if I may have missed one. However, in the end I would recommend this book to my friends and anyone who has an interest in the world of dragon shifters.
