My wife’s dead. She killed herself right in front of me and it’s all my fault. My main goal now is to not mix my sexual needs with my emotional needs. Those are damaged forever. I bury my pain in a sex club that provides me an anonymous release. This way I never emotionally cheat on my wife. She was my forever. This is my right now.

You name it I’ve read it. I love my erotic novels. After my husband was murdered, this is the only excitement I get out of my lonely, pathetic, workaholic life. That is, until I met Becca with her invitation to join her for one of my wildest book fantasies. Now I can be whoever I want to be, where no one knows my past and will never be my future.

***Casandra – #NerdGirlLola’s  Review***
Just reading the synopsis I knew this book was going to rip my heart out and stomp on it. All things considered, I was right. This book is better than any soap opera I’ve ever seen, except for maybe when Marlena was possessed but I digress. This is the 3rd book by Lauren that I have read and reviewed and her writing just keeps getting better and better.

Black Widow is absolutely amazing. This is the story of two people coming together for one thing and one thing only, to fulfill their sexual needs, without all the mushy heart stuff involved. Neither one of them want a real relationship as they had given their hearts to someone who left them too soon. When shit hits the fan the book comes alive and it’s anybody’s guess as to who did what. This book kept me on my toes and once everything came together I was blown away by how it all ended.

The writing is excellent with awesome characters and quite a few twists and turns. This book is a tiny bit darker that her Unwritten series, just by a hair, and I totally loved it. I’ll admit that I thought the book was going in one direction and was totally surprised when it switched gears on me and went in the opposite direction. I had to stop and ask myself, did that really just happen?

Over all I completely loved this book. I want to go in to more detail but I don’t do spoilers. Just know that this is an absolute thrill ride! 5 fantastically awesome stars!!!!
