***Christine – #NerdGirlPixie’s  Review***
Going Home is the first book in Rhonda Dennis’ Green Bayou Series. This book introduces Emily, a paramedic in New Orleans for the last 10 years. And then she finds her partner injecting a burn victim’s needed morphine into himself, and her life changes.

Emily decides to return home, where her parents house is vacant, and her mentor is able to hire her immediately. Emily even finds herself back with her high school sweetheart.

But there are weird things happening in Atchafalaya Parish. Medics keep disappearing. And someone is lurking around Emily’s house.

This book has everything: Romance, suspense, mystery, and enough twists and turns to resemble the Bayou it’s set in. There is not a cliffhanger, but you are still left excited to read the next book.
