MOMENT OF IMPACT
In one moment of impact, lives change forever and there is no going back to before. As much as we try or do not want to…we must always continue to take small steps forward. This pushes us to move through the pain and sorrow, for if we lose the will to live…we lose that chance for a new beginning. ~Rene d. Schultz
Seven people board a train to Los Angeles. Each one with their own story… In that one ‘moment of impact’ the train crash will change their lives forever. Some will live and some will die, but the catastrophic rippling effect of the crash will leave many lives and families shattered.
Take this journey….as lives change forever….
This story is very different from her others in the sense that there are 7 main characters that the reader meets. They all have something in their lives that is a challenge to them and they all have people that love and depend on them. This story is a whole box of tissues, ugly crying so hard that the words all blur together and you can’t contain your emotions type of story. You will go from happiness to sadness to disbelief in seconds all while yelling and screaming at the author, asking her WHY?!?!? This isn’t a typical happy ever after ending but there is a sense of happiness to it.
The author literally takes a piece of the readers heart and soul when they are reading this book. They can picture the Moment Of Impact for each character as well as for themselves. The reader learns that in every life there is one of these Moment’s and what we become from them is a harsh truth. Author Rene D. Schultz challenges us to find our Moment and to evaluate how it has affected us and those around us. She shows the reader that good can come from the most horrible of moments and that no matter the reader should try to make that moment significant and important for them to move on with life. Once you finish reading this book you will immediately want to pick it back up and start again….why would you want to do that you ask? You will want to because no matter how much you cried, yelled, screamed and rebelled against what happens in the book you will need to go back and re-read the hope, the happiness and the reason for continuing along with life as well as you probably zoomed through the book so fast the first time that you missed so much, but you just weren’t able to slow down at all.
Don’t miss out on this amazing journey that 7 strangers take together along with their friends and family. It is a must read and a must read now, as it will affect how you look at things through life. It is a learning experience and a reflection. What is your Moment Of Impact? How does it change you? Find out in this amazing book by author Rene D. Schultz. The quote at the end of the book is one that I have added to my daily life – and it is one that can’t be missed!
