You can predict the tides but not the changes they make. Gunnison Del Valle was the current in the tide that was about to change my life.
Crash one we met.
Crash two we fell in love.
Crash three changed our perfectly planned lives forever.
Crashing Tides is the story of Marleigh and Gunnison (GC)….they meet during Spring Break and never really get over each other, especially as the story takes a complete 180 degree turn and the reader is in a state of shock and disbelief as they frantically turn the pages to see what is going to happen next. The author didn’t make the path easy for Marleigh or GC, but she made the message clear – true love will find a way, no matter how hard it seems to be…
The reader never really gets a chance to sit back and enjoy the scenery along the coast, nor do they get to enjoy the calm, peacefulness of the ocean – they are too busy yelling, screaming and fending off homicidal thoughts due to some poor decisions that the characters make. This book will be a book that you will want to read more than once, as you will want to go back and enjoy the descriptions of the location that the author has chosen for the setting. You will also want to go back and re-read the story because it is just that good. There are a few parts where the reader may think that the details were skimpy or the pace was a bit rushed but the overall story more than makes up for these minor details.
Do yourself a favor and add this one to your TBR list – it is a can’t miss, must read that you will instantly become hooked on. Enjoy – and be prepared to read it over and over again!
