In the second seductive LOST novel from New York Timesbestselling author Cynthia Eden, an obsessed Last Option Search Team agent goes looking for trouble—and finds her in the Big Easy.

Dean Bannon comes to New Orleans for one reason only: to track down a missing sixteen-year-old girl. That’s before he meets the drop-dead gorgeous con artist who makes him want to lose his legendary control.

With her past, Emma Castille doesn’t claim to be psychic. She just notices things other people don’t. Like the fear in a runaway’s eyes—or the pain in an ex-FBI agent’s heart. Her chemistry with Dean is blistering, but Emma follows her passion . . . not someone else’s orders.

Then a madman breaks into Emma’s home and leaves a twisted message:You’re next. Now Dean refuses to let her out of his sight until he pries every last secret from her full, sexy lips. And suddenly Emma’s aching to give him everything he wants.

***Cassandra – #NerdGirlLola’s  Review***
The second installment in Cynthia Eden’s romantic suspense series LOST follows former FBI Agent Dean Bannon as he is looking for a missing 16 year old girl named Julia in New Orleans. While on his search he meets Emma Castille, a beautiful con artist who threatens his iron clad control.

For me this one took a few chapters to really get in to it, but once it started it just didn’t stop. With so many twists and turns it was an awesome, yet sad, ride to find out whom the killer was. And I’ll be honest I wasn’t really shocked to find out who it was as this person was my main suspect early on, but the why and how was very intriguing.

Another thing I liked about the book is that we saw even more glimpses of the other team members, especially Sarah (coincidentally the next book is her story, I can’t wait). I love how the author writes the characters so well, kudos on the awesome character development.

Just like with Broken, this is an Insta-love kind of book which doesn’t bother me. Sometimes a story like this can get bogged down by too much of the “love” story. Not this one. It’s the right mix of thriller and romance.

Over all this is an excellent book and I can’t wait to continue the series and see how the other team members get their HEA.
