***THIS BOOK WAS PROVIDED TO NERD GIRL IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***
Synopsis (paste in box): *WARNING* This is a slow moving sad love story. Please do not buy it if you like fast pace action or romantic plot. This book has none. *WARNING*
Fifteen years ago Kellion S. Mocking left the love of his life. Now he’s ready to find her again. Taking the journey down the country roads, Kell saves a young girl from drowning herself. He never learns her name but she might hold the key to his success. A tale of forgiveness, heartbreak, and ultimately of redemption. Can the girl help Kell when his world falls apart?
A stated in the synopsis, we follow Kell’s journey, on foot, t0 the only address he has for the love of his life, Angelius – the first and only friend he ever made in the orphanage.
Although the author warns us that it will be slow, don’t be put off. If you have read any Magus Tor books you will find the standard of writing the same as always. I think that Magus would have to try very hard to write in a boring style and my only reason for awarding only four stars (which is still a high rating) is that the book is, in my opinion, only demonstrating about 98% of his story telling ability.
I still recommend that you give it a try, then read the conclusion in the second book in the duo, Moonful of Love
