***Melanie – #NerdGirlVamp’s  Review***
This was the first book by this author that I have read and sadly whilst I see where she sort of wanted to go with the story it really didn’t work or me on any level.

I read a lot of MG books for review so that wasn’t the problem, the problem was that sadly too much of the story just didn’t make sense. I live with a teenager and have raise 2 other prior to this and I just can’t see there being anything here that they could relate to.

The dialogue didn’t connect for me and I maybe there were too many “main” characters vying for attention but none of which had enough that allowed the reader to connect with or care about what was going on.

For young teens with cell phones they failed to even try to call their parents despite some pretty unbelievable events occurring (Such as a girl’s bleached hair turning completely green because of chlorine on a ride?).

Over all I feel that this book just isn’t quite there yet. Whether there is a great story lurking in there waiting to be discovered I can’t say. I would like to hope so, but for me it definitely isn’t showing yet.

A very sad 2 out of 5 stars from me.
