Synopsis

One lie can destroy everything…

After enduring years of manipulation and an immeasurable amount of loss, Charlotte Kelly makes one last ditch effort to change her life and try to find happiness again. She knows she’ll see him when she moves back to Wisconsin. She’s planning on it, the connection she still feels to him after all these years is undeniable. But one lie tore them apart years ago, and she’s afraid some mistakes can’t be forgiven.

Travis Parker doesn’t like liars. When he was younger, lies burned him in a bad way. It only took one summer with Charlotte’s innocence to know that she was it for him. When he thought he finally had something to look forward to, one misguided lie shattered everything he believed. Now, Char’s back, but she’s not the same girl he once knew.

***Kristin – #NerdGirlSoldier’s  Review***
Just wow! I completely enjoyed this book. It hooked me from the first page and it didn’t let go. I’m still reeling as I write this.

The plot was very well developed and the details were phenomenal. I love that Travis is a smokin’ hot firefighter (haha see what I did there?) who’s got a heart of gold. He’s been through heartbreak yet he lets Charlotte in. Charlotte goes through what I would describe as Hell. Both characters are well developed and grow throughout the book. Charlotte does the most growing I think. She’s one strong woman for loosing her family and dealing with Todd, a sadistic SOB that I highly disliked. You’ll see why…trust me, you’ll just enjoy disliking him. Despite all she’s been through, Charlotte still finds a way to believe in love and fairy tales. Their love is incredible and is tested plenty, but it holds firm.

I enjoyed the many twists and turns this book gave me and I hope that the next boook does the same thing for me. I truly hope that you pick up a copy of this book today. It’s a great read with characters that you will relate and connect with.
