Synopsis

Another day. Another funeral. Another ghost. Another average day in the life of young funeral home director, Emma Lee Raines. After a perilous run-in with a plastic Santa Claus, Emma Lee, co-owner of Eternal Slumber Funeral Home in Sleepy Hollow, Kentucky, sees the ghost of town gossip Ruthie Sue Payne, who is proving to be a real pain, more so in death than while living. Recently deceased, Ruthie reveals to Emma Lee that her demise wasn’t caused by accidentally falling down the steps at the Sleepy Hollow Inn as everyone believes—she was pushed…murdered. In order for the ghost to cross over—and for Emma Lee to be rid of Ruthie for good—she must find a desperate killer…or risk being haunted forever.

***Gladys – #NerdGirlOfficial’s  Review***
Hmmmmm…  Picture this…  You are in a small town called Sleepy Hollow, Kentucky and the funeral director keeps talking to herself.  Ummmmmm…  my paranormal loving mind wouldn’t think she was crazy but that she was talking to the people she is “working” on and setting out for the wake.

Well this is what really happened to Emma Lee when she was bonked on the head with a plastic Santa Claus.  Remind me to not put up my husband’s favorite one this year.  I don’t want them following me around like a “Ghost Whisperer”.

Paranormal Mystery and Comedy fans will love this book.  Emma has a crazy granny, and in this one she has a ghost, Ruthie Sue Pain,  following her around!!  My favorite side character of course is Jack Henry.  He is a man in uniform and southern sweet as can be!!

Tonya Kappes gives you a laugh out loud, sweet and mysterious novel that delivers in the end!  I cant wait to read more from her!  I tip my Nerd Girl hat to you and give you 4 stars!!
