Will shedding her anonymity and stepping out of the shadows allow a New Monster to find a way to her doorstep?

The actor…

Taylor Mandrake is a rising star. Often spotted with several of Hollywood’s sexiest starlets, he’s developed a reputation as a bit of a playboy—willing to share his bed but never his heart. Until he meets her.

He’s everything she could ever want.

However, his past may be all it takes to convince Aislin that he can’t be trusted with her fragile heart.

When these two guarded souls come together, will they be able to survive the monsters of their pasts in order to embrace the love of their future?

***Kristin – #NerdGirlSoldier’s  Review***
This was an interesting read for me because the main female character is an author. I found that to be incredibly cool. I’ve always wondered just what it takes to pull off book signings, deadlines and all that goes into making a book come to life. I felt that this book helped me see there’s more to it than just a cool story idea.

It did start out a little slow for me, but gradually kept my focus and attention. One thing that did make it hard for me to follow at first is that the book changes POV’s frequently. It took me a few chapters to realize that the chapter was named with that character’s POV. Once I caught on (and remembered to check the name at the start of a chapter) I enjoyed knowing each POV.

The storyline was engaging once you get further into the book. The characters were very well developed and grew throughout the book. There were times I laughed and times I cried. I enjoyed more than just getting to know the main characters, Aislin and Taylor, but their friends as well. Each secondary character played a crucial role in the main characters lives and you could see that all of the relationships were genuine. Nothing was rushed in the romance department and I greatly enjoyed that. And for those who like instant gratification, there is no cliffhanger. Pick up a copy today and dive in!
