***#NerdGirlNoelle’s Review***

The foodie part of me loved Nikki’s restaurant as a backdrop. I loved all of the cooking & food related scenes, very well-written with description of the tastes and smells, made me feel like I was right there eating too! I also loved the bar atmosphere descriptions, it felt very real.

I really felt for Nikki, her life really handed her some challenges, and the part where she opens up to Jack really made me feel her pain, I like where the plot lines are heading with her life intertwined with Jack.

I was a little disappointed at the ending and how Nikki reacted, but I can tell you, that I will definitely be reading further additions to the series to see how it all ties together, and to see how certain plot lines are carried out.

I just wish some of the unnecessary plot aspects could have been taken out, I felt like sometimes there were too many directions for the story to head in, and I wish more time could have been focused on Jack & Nikki.  Don’t get me wrong, I liked them, but just wish there was more development of their relationship. There were a few minor grammar issues, but those were the only things holding me back from a 5 star rating. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for an interesting romance read!
