***THIS BOOK WAS GIVEN TO ME IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***
Sienna Trudeau is only months away from getting married and starting her senior year of college. In her eyes, everything is going perfectly—until she discovers she’s wrong.
Broken hearted and betrayed, she moves in with her cousin, Sophie. Sienna isn’t ready for another relationship. But she can’t deny the attraction she feels towards Adam Korbell.
Sienna desperately fights her growing feelings for the cocky, sexy, tattooed guy who’s only interested in meaningless sex. Meanwhile, Adam attempts to resist the allure of the feisty blonde who has no intention of becoming his next one-night stand . . . But love and fate have a sneaky way of breaking down even the best defenses.
Sienna has a secret she’s not ready to reveal. What she doesn’t know is the price of her hesitation.
A string of misunderstandings that tear them apart.
Deceptions and betrayals that cut too deep.
A vicious lie that even the truth may never fix.
I loved Sienna. She grew so much throughout the book. She goes from not caring about wedding planning and pleasing her mother to a woman who knows what she wants and sticks up for the decisions she makes. I love that Sienna blatantly tells her mother that she knows she’s a disappointment to her, but that she doesn’t care anymore because she’s happy. Her only flaw is that she’s more stubborn than a mule.
Sophie cracks me up. She’s that fun secondary sidekick character that brings the comic relief when it’s needed, and boy does Sophie bring it. Despite being a secondary character, Sophie does do some growing up of her own. You’ll have to read it to find out more…
Adam is just dreamy. He’s not overly alpha but when he needs to be an alpha male, I think my panties combusted. Adam I think does the most growing. He’s used to a certain lifestyle that he felt was fine…and then he met Sienna and his world is rocked. Adam questions things about his life that he never did before.
There is a lot to love about this book so please pick it up today and give it a try. I really hope that Sophie gets her own book because she is too hilarious not to have one.
