The nightmares never stop. Love and happiness is just an illusion, a Fairy Tale. Men, all men, want one thing, sex and then they leave. At least that’s how it is for Jaden Smith. She lost her father at the age of 9, the only man who truly loved her. Her mother used and manipulated her while teaching her younger sister how to trap a man. At the age of 20, she finally escaped. She started to believe in love and happiness again. Until her mother and sister took it all away, again. Jaden now believes she is broken and beyond repair. Yet, she prays that maybe, just maybe, one day… Just Breathe Nightmares for Chase Daniels occurred during the day. Money hungry woman coming at him, all day every day. Love and happiness is just an illusion, a Fairy Tale. Samantha broke him. She crushed his heart and world. He swore that he would never let any woman close enough to hurt him again. Yet, he prays that maybe, just maybe, one day… Just Breathe

***#NerdGirlNoelle’s Review***
I have to say, I did enjoy the plot twists, but other than that, I found this to be a very cliche and predictable read.

The characters were pretty much carbon characters of other novels in this genre, as was the storyline; rich guy meets poor girl, where they each save each other.

The grammar was also hard to follow at times, some spelling errors, and the speaking grammar did not flow well at times, it was too proper at some points, where characters could have used a few contractions.

Parts of the plot also seemed very far fetched, like Jaden’s condition on why she cannot have children, the reason behind it doesn’t have much fact checking.

The relationship between Jaden and Chase to me, was forced too soon.  I didn’t really feel it in the beginning, all of a sudden they were calling each other terms of endearment, and using “honey” and “love” a little too soon.  It did not feel genuine, too fast, too soon.

I just didn’t feel the connection to the characters or the story with this book.

Even though I’ve only given it 2 stars, I will most likely pick up the continuations to see how the story ends.
