Synopsis

Liam Gallagher, AKA Glitch, is the brain behind a trio of corporate criminals. Formerly known as one of the most notorious hackers in cyberspace, he now works to keep Hawk Global Industries one step ahead of its competitors.

But there’s a catch. Being blackmailed to do what he does best isn’t how Glitch plans to spend the rest of his life, and his partners in crime feel the same way. When an old flame crosses his path unexpectedly, Glitch and company learn that betrayal is on the horizon for them. It’s time to put a plan in motion and reclaim their freedom, once and for all. Things are going to get pretty nasty along the way, even a little sexy, but it’s all in a day’s work for a Corporate Hitman.

***Contains Graphic Sex, Strong Language and Adult Situations. Not for young readers***

***Derek – #NerdGirlDad’s  Review***

Unlike many books with a similar synopsis this can not be used as a manual on hacking methods.
It is purely a love story/adventure that happens to involve hackers. No technical information is given about hacking, but this is a good thing.
It is very hard going for the first few chapters, until you get the gist of the tale, but whilst the central character, Glitch, is not one you  will immediately warm to and identify with (I would have preferred that he be more likeable), you will eventually learn to like his attitude to life and wish him well as he tries to unravel the trap he and his  friends have obviously fallen into. Everything about the tale gets rapidly better as soon as you meet the love of his life, a fellow hacker.
My only complaint is that rather than have the more usual cliff-hanger ending, this just stops mid-story and  you realise only then that there is more to come, though you are treated to an appetizer of the next book.
