He’s hot, young, and way off-limits… But he might be just what she needs to get over the past and on with her life.
Lisa Taylor’s life stalled after her divorce three years ago, and she never got it started up again. Now her shit-paying catalogue photography job is boring her to death, she can’t bear to look in the mirror, and she hasn’t had a man since her asshole ex left.
When a gorgeous younger man reappears in her life, he promises to be the solution to all those problems. Tempting as he is — and god almighty, he is! — taking what he offers could destroy what little she has left.
The premis is believable. A young boy has a crush on his buddy’s mom, goes away to college always pinning for her and comes home a beautiful specimen of a man. A 40ish divorcee, down on her luck trying to put the pieces of her life back together after her husband left her and working at a not so dream job. Well they meet back up. Was it by chance? Not really since her son asked Braden to help his mom Lisa out around the yard since his father left.
But what happens next is by chance?? Is their destiny?? Is what dreams are made of?? You have to read it to find out. Erotica yes! Yes it is. Steamy and thrilling! But the backdrop story is what gets you and pulls you in. It keeps you reading.
You can tell that Julie, the screenwriter, shined through the dialogue of the novel because it was fluid and the transitions from scene to scene were seamless.
I give you 4 stars and tip my Nerd Girl hat to you! I enjoyed it. The build up was fantastic!
