Kori suffered a great loss, one that left her feeling so desolate and alone, that she believed nothing would ever fill the void…
The only thing that kept her going was the one little piece of joy she still had in her life, her baby boy, Rhett.
She had no choice but to move forward and give her son the best life she could. Which meant moving back home.
Except there was one problem
Home was where Reed would be…
The man who once held her heart, then shattered it into a million pieces.
Grieving the loss of Rhetts dad, and learning to forgive those who have betrayed her, Kori was battling it all.
But will she ever have the strength to forgive Reed?

***Catherine – #NerdGirlCat’s  Review***
The book starts off with Kori and Blake, they are college sweethearts.  They are expecting a baby and they are planning their future together.  A terrible accident leaves Kori grieving, but also celebrating the birth of her son, Rhett.  She moves back home to Georgia to raise him and trying to move on with her life.  She is really struggling, she has no idea how to let go and try to move on.  She has a wonderful support system in her family and friends.

Reed is the sexy cowboy that broke her heart before she meet Blake.  He was her first love and he made a stupid mistake that caused her to walk out of his life.  Over the years he has become a good and respectable man and has never gotten over Kori.  He always wanted her back and now that she’s back in town he tries to rekindle at least the friendship they use to have.  Can Kori forgive him and allow herself to open her heart again?  Can she let go of Blake in order to let herself fall in love again?

This was an amazingly emotional book.  You will cry, laugh and cry again.  I love second chance romances and this is one of the best ones I have read in a while.  It’s a book about learning to let go, forgiving and the healing power of love.  Give it a chance and you will fall in love with Reed and Kori, they were perfect for one another.  i’m looking forward to the next book in the series.  This author has an amazing style of writing, you definitely feel like you are right there with the characters and feel their emotions too.
