Anna Rose Ellington is sixteen and living in Hollywood, hoping to be a star. Anna just landed a major role on Ghost House, TeenTV’s new fall drama. A show promising to be so hot, Meg Sweet (the reigning teenage diva), signed on for the lead, and Adam Lewis (international rock sensation) is a principal player.
Her dreams are falling into place until she gets on set and begins questioning her sanity. It’s true she has an unusual dream life, where once in a while her dreams literally come true. But it’s been a while. On top of her dreams not staying put in her brain, including the guy she’d been dreaming of for years, the house they’re filming in, Gold Manor, might actually be haunted. But that’s the least of her worries.
I was so lucky to find Author Merry Brown’s Giveaway on Goodreads! It was an opportunity to find an amazing new author, fantastic books and a connection with some new characters and scenarios that were fun, original and exciting. Author Merry Brown brings something different to the YA Paranormal Romance Genre, she brings her heart. You can tell by reading her books that she pours her heart and soul into them and that they are more than just a job, they are a part of her.
I loved this book! I have read the author’s other series, The Knowers, and thought that they would be hard to top, but Author Merry Brown did it with this book and this new series! I am sooo looking forward to reading book 2 in the series and will be picking that up soon! I enjoyed the way in which the author set up the details of the story, she painted such a vivid picture for the reader that it felt like they were a part of the story. The author also introduced the characters to us in a way in which the reader felt like they were able to get to know them. The characters ended up feeling like friends that the readers have known forever. The author makes the reader a part of her stories and that is something that many authors cannot achieve.
I look forward to reading much more by author Merry Brown and pretty soon it is going to be hard for me to even try to pick a favorite out of her books. She has a unique style of writing that is both enjoyable and unpredictable. Her books are such a great pleasure to read, so do yourself a favor and pick one up today! You won’t be able to stop at just that one! Add this one and all of her others to your TBR list and move them to the top of the list ~ Enjoy!
