Synopsis

Crown Prince Zhaiden Sinclair’s duties include working with his father the Emperor, as well as assuming the galactic interface of the Empire, so how much time can he spend with his listless son, who cannot get over the absence of Zhaiden’s ex-wife? Enter Renee Delacorte, a child psychologist who captures Zhaiden’s heart!

But Zhaiden’s life grinds to a halt when his ex-wife perpetrates a horrific crime against Renee. Yet the stringent nature of his duties means he cannot spend the time to woo her as before. Will he be able to convince her to marry him once again?

This science fiction romance is the fourth book of the eight-part To Be Sinclair series. The saga continues with FEALTY and its companion volume ROYALTY, which detail the romances and political struggles of the Prince Second and Crown Prince of the Sinclair Demesnes. A few scenes describe sexually explicit behavior.

***Contains Graphic Sex, Strong Language and Adult Situations. Not for young readers***

***Melanie – #NerdGirlVamp’s  Review***

This is the forth installment in the To Be Sinclair series and the “sci fi” feel has continued but the novelty of the unusual “Court” mentality and protocols that kept it in that unknown territory for me have definitely started to wear off.

The story is continuing and although the writing has stayed consistently strong, at the point I have to confess I am losing interest. The novelty factor of the books being so different that kept me intrigued early on I fear has now waned and sadly without that I am not enjoying the saga as much as with earlier installments.

That being said I think anyone who has stayed with this story thus for the love of the characters may well find that this is one of the stronger story bases and will continue on. I would definitely recommend that anyone intrigued takes a look at book 1.

I will stress yet again (because it really bothers me) that I really don’t think that the covers do these books any justice at all which I feel is a terrible shame but all I can do is suggest people try and look past them

3 1/2 stars for me (rounded up to 4)
