This is the second installment in Anita Cox’s Dirty White Candy series. In the first book we saw Candy emerge from a shattering divorce to become a completely new person, who knows what she wants, a fulfilling sex life. In this book she continues her journey while on an all expenses paid swingers vacation.
This book is just as fabulous as the first if not better because we see Candy grow and take the next step. Since her divorce she is a little apprehensive about starting another relationship but there is just something about John that she really likes. So to show him how much she appreciates him, she takes him on her swinger’s vacation. And straight up awesomness ensues.
This book is marvelous. I love how Candy is written. Now that shes bounced back she doesn’t take crap from anyone and goes after what she wants. John is so supportive of her decisions and lets her do her thing without becoming clingy, overbearing, or jealous.
As with the first book, this one is also very well written with likeable characters and great dialog. The sex scenes are great without being too exaggerated. All around just an excellent read.
I’m looking forward to continuing Candy and John’s story.
