Alice is fed up; the final year of her degree hasn’t been so kind to her, and the monotony of working menial jobs for terrible money is beginning to take its toll. Frustrated and in need of a distraction, she takes a walk to the docks, and boards the first yacht she finds, hoping to stowaway to a new life.

Discovered by a man she mistakenly believes is a mere staff member, they seal her secret with a stolen tryst! What Alice doesn’t know, however, is that she’s already begun her journey into the renowned billionaire bachelor Cal Landon’s secretive lifestyle!

This steamy 17,000 word novelette is the first installment of Ana Meadows’ thrilling erotic romance series, Close Quarters. Intended for an adult audience, this enthralling tale follows a bored and frustrated young college student seeking a thrilling distraction, unaware of what she might get; a gorgeously handsome billionaire businessman, renowned for all the wrong reasons, and a host of lurid, submissively sumptuous sex scenes!   *****This book is PERMA-FREE on Amazon*****

I find the concept of some erotic books very interesting.  Some have depth, some have meaning and some are just pure SEX.  Then there is pure fantasy!  Enjoyment! An escape from the mundane!  OR maybe, just maybe it’s a precursor to the evening ahead of you.    I find people who read erotica who are looking for an intricate plot within the pages of a novelette or in vol1 of a book, very very very interesting.  Don’t read it if you already know you are not going to like it.  Don’t try to find something in the pages of a book that you already know will not interest you.  I am off my soap box.

I needed to be on the soap box because this book was well written, but the circumstances that lead to Ana’s mini-vacation with Cal, the Billionaire, was farfetched.  9 times out of 10 you board a boat that you’re not supposed to be on and you’re shoved off nicely with an admonishment.   But aside from that sex scenes were on point, I hate when you read an erotic fiction and the positions seem impossible.

Cal is the typical arrogant alpha male and Ana is not so innocent but yet she falls in love very easy.  Interesting…  This novelette does continue and I do plan on continuing.  I am on the mission to find the perfect erotic fiction.

I do give close quarter a 3 ½ star rounded to 4 because it was well written and there isn’t half stars available here.  You never know the next volume of this story maybe bring so #AwesomePlot to the kindle screen and redeem the 1 ½ stars!  It’s on my TBR.
