Synopsis

Impulsive, YES. Irresponsible, SURE. Necessary, PROBABLY. Going to end badly, most likely. Does any of that matter to me, no. I decided that I can’t please everyone so this week my only goal is to please me. I’m a selfish cow but I can’t seem to help it. I’m Clara Lord. I own Bloodline’s Tattoo Parlor, have a filthy mouth, no filter and a really strong objection to bossy idiots, pet names and wealthy men.

You will hate me, love me or love to hate me but either way it doesn’t matter. Everything I touch turns to crap and it’s all my fault. See, I lived through hell. Then I escaped hell and carefully spent the next eight years crafting a perfect little life until Domini Napoli screwed it all up. Now nothings right. Everything’s wrong and all my secrets are coming out.

***Contains Graphic Sex, Strong Language and Adult Situations. Not for young readers***

***Lauren – #NerdGirlSphinx’s  Review***
I really wanted to LOVE this book.  I did LIKE the book.  The story line was realistic enough that I wanted to keep reading.  There were just a few things that irked me enough to knock off a star.  The main character, Clara, is old enough to know better.  She has an 8-year-old daughter that should come first, and I felt as though she was always second – regardless of what Clara believed.

The love triangle was okay, I guess.  I mean, there was a great guy and then there was Dom.  Personally, I am at a point in my life that I don’t need all that mess, so I think I had a harder time connecting to the relationship (considering I actually have an 8-year-old I thought I would connect a little better to the characters and their relationships).

That out of the way, I STILL liked the book because the author wrote it well.  There weren’t any major grammatical errors that drew me away form the story, and I enjoyed reading it.
