***Shelly – #NerdGirlXrayer’s  Review***
Good girl meets bad boy and falls in love and the bad boy changes to be with her.  The end.  Not in this book.  Harvey has a trouble past that includes alcohol, theft, and a bad family history.  He ends up in rehab and after 8 months returns home.  Beth is just graduated from high school and is looking forward to having some fun before college.  She has always been the good girl that studied and got good grades.

Beth wants a relationship with Harvey but her best friend and family caution her to be careful.  Beth is slightly naïve and wants a loving sweet relationship.  As the relationship moves along she does realize that Harvey is not opening up to her.

Beth continues to grow into adulthood as college becomes closer as Harvey struggles not to return to his old life.  He doesn’t exactly succeed in that as he finds out some truths from his childhood.  Beth learns more and more about herself and her family when she ventures off to college.  She always has a giving heart though.

This book has twist and turns that you don’t see coming and certainly does not have the ending that you would think.  It was a great read that keeps you guessing.
