CLEAN TEEN PUBLISHING
A New Kind of Publishing
Clean Teen Publishing is a new Indie publishing company that publishes Young Adult and New Adult fiction. Clean Teen Publishing opened their doors in late February of 2013 and has since developed an amazing portfolio of talented best-selling and award-winning authors. Clean Teen Publishing will be feeding your reading addiction for years to come with their numerous Young Adult and New Adult books. Read more below to find out what makes Clean Teen Publishing unique:
What Makes Clean Teen Publishing Different For Readers?
One of the things that makes Clean Teen Publishing stand out from the crowd is their trademark rating system. All Young Adult genre books that are newly published through Clean Teen Publishing contain a content rating and full disclosure. This content rating is based on the following: Romance, Language, Violence and Drug/Alcohol Abuse. At Clean Teen Publishing, they believe that their readers deserve to know ahead of time what they are reading. They do not believe in censorship; they believe in the right to know. Every reader, no matter what their age is, has certain boundaries they don’t want to cross. Currently there is no consistent rating system in place for books like there are for movies, music and video games. Clean Teen Publishing believes that by offering a wider range of disclosure about the content of their books, they will give readers of all ages and parents, a stronger sense of comfort according to what lies between the pages.
With that said, they will not deem whether a book is appropriate or inappropriate for any particular age range. Their disclosure is simply for you to know what is in the book and we leave it up to you to decide what you are comfortable with reading.
ASK THE PUBLISHER:
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: “Your name is Clean Teen, doesn’t that mean that every book you have is clean?” ~Reader
ANSWER: “Our name is Clean Teen Publishing because we liked the name and because we wanted to make a unique name for ourselves within the publishing industry by utilizing our content rating system. We can’t define the term ‘Clean Teen’ because clean could mean different things to different people. Instead, what we can do is offer you full disclosure of what is included in our books. With that said, we do advise that you utilize this disclosure if you are looking for books that are moderate in content because some of our books may have mature themes. One nice thing is that you will never be surprised with the content in our books, because the full disclosure is at your fingertips.” ~CTP Crew

What Makes Clean Teen Publishing Different For Authors?
“Now that your book is finished, let your story begin…”
At Clean Teen Publishing, we believe our authors, who create new and amazing literary worlds, deserve to receive a large share of the profits that their art creates. We also believe that our authors deserve the support of quality editing, breathtaking covers and the power of a strong marketing presence behind them. As authors ourselves, we know that your writing comes from your heart and, in a sense, is a part of you. We will carefully protect that part of you and work hard to keep your creative vision alive. We strive to be different and unique in the publishing industry. Some of the complaints that we have heard about from authors is that their publishing house is hard to get ahold, that it takes too long to get a book published, that they aren’t treated the same as other “best-selling” authors in the house. This is where Clean Teen Publishing and Crimson Tree Publishing is different. We like to think of our authors as part of our family. Our team is available daily to answer questions, to provide support and guidance and to be your biggest fan. Our authors work together and provide support and feedback to each other. If you are looking for a new home for you next novel, we recommend you review our author feedback on our website and on our Facebook page.
Clean Teen Publishing is currently accepting submissions for Young Adult and New Adult novels. We are looking for well written YA (young adult) or NA (new adult) novels that are between 50,000 and 100,000 words. We are looking for something unique and breathtaking. For more information on our submission guidelines, check out: http://www.cleanteenpublishing.com/submissions.html
Are you our next Clean Teen or Crimson Tree Publishing Author?
Also check out our Adult Fiction Imprint:
Crimson Tree Publishing is open for submissions. We are looking for unique New Adult and Adult fiction. We generally prefer fiction with some sort of romantic element in the storyline. While we accept stand-alone books, our ideal submission would be the first two books in a series or a novel and a novella that is a prequel to the novel. We are looking for something unique and breathtaking. Please note that while this is our adult imprint of Clean Teen Publishing, we still prefer manuscripts that are not heavy on sexual content, violence or language. For information on how to submit to Crimson Tree Publishing, please view our submission guidelines at:
