When seventeen-year-old Maximillion Taylor and his best friend, Jones go to a house party, he doesn’t expect to get kidnapped—much less by a succubus—and she’s not the only one on the hunt. Thrown into a world of angels and demons, where nothing and no one is what they seem, Max ventures to find his true identity and learn to fight the demons who pursue him. When his origin is revealed, it’s a race against the clock for a battle that will determine whether he can protect the ones he loves or succumb to his true nature. Through lies, betrayal, love and pain, Max must prepare to face the demons before it is too late…

***Amanda – #NerdGirlWitch’s  Review***
This was a great book! I have a fondness for Fallen Angels and Nephilim Stories. Karina Espinosa did this one up nicely there were some cool twists and turns and some very unusual things happen that made this a very exciting read!

I loved the ending, it was one of my favourite parts of the book as it ended with an amazing and heartbreaking battle and then a letter. the letter just added the perfect touch that the book needed in the end I think especially to bring the book down after such a big battle. It was touching and sincere.

Everyone was so shady in this book that you never know who to trust even Max’s own father. It makes it especially hard for me to pick a fav character…lol…but I would probably have to say it was Angela. Even though at times she is the greyist of the bunch I think she has a good heart and doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Max.

Jeremiel was another favourite of mine. the old man cracked me up at times as he was always doing something different, for the angel of prophecy dude was…he did help as much as he could which I would say wasn’t a whole lot but was like going to a grandparent for comfort.

This book was amazing and Karina Espinosa is obviously a brilliant writer! if you like books about the fallen then this is defiantly a story for you!
