When the girl of his dreams walks into his homeroom class one October morning, Max Fergus, a seventeen year old quarterback and star student, has his world turned upside down; everything he has ever thought about himself and his life is changed in that instant and nothing will ever be the same again, because once you know you aren’t human, there’s no going back, no pretending you are less than you are.
Anna Lissa Felidae, a pure blooded shifter has been searching for her soul mate, the one guy that was meant for her, and just when she is sure she is about to run out of time, Diana, goddess of the hunt, appears to her and sends her in the right direction. With another shifter on her trail, one who is determined to have her no matter what the cost, Anna has just three short weeks to convince Max he is a pure blooded shifter, among other things, and teach him to fight so they can be together. With the help of a few Fae friends, a motley crew of shifters and Max’s best friend Tony, they are sure to win.
I loved everything about this book! the characters were inspiring the storyline was amazing and the bad guy lurked in the shadows awaiting the chance to pounce at every opportunity. This story not only had one bad guys but two! how epic is that! poor Max though finding out about his family history was hard enough but now he has two enemies at his back because of it…lol
there were some awesome characters in this James really stood out to me and Tony of course both awesome characters! I really came to like The king of Light of the fea, they are usually depicted as such nasty creatures no matter light or dark but I like them more this way strong, proud, beautiful but with that hint of a devious nature beneath because they are always plotting something.
The immediate connection between Anna and Max was amazing! how they loved and how easily they fell for one another was magical. It was a little fast but meet your soul mate is like that swift, breathtaking and everlasting! I meet mine 18 years ago this June and it was the same we meet and were married in 3 months people said we were crazy and too young, but here we are 18 years and 4 children later and even more in love then we were then. It does happen so don’t keep searching!
if you haven’t read this incredible book make sure to get your copy today!
