Most people don’t travel to another universe to get a new job, house and boyfriend but psychic investigator Caitlin Diggs did. Now she’s living the life of her alternate self, working for the FBI’s Preternatural Division where her first case just happens to include chasing a genetically engineered man hell bent on stealing souls. Well, there had to be consequences.

***Contains Graphic Sex, Strong Language and Adult Situations. Not for young readers***

***Melanie – #NerdGirlVamp’s Review***
This was a great idea for a story and the majority of my star rating is coming from the fact that I think this has major potential, for me it just isn’t there yet.

The whole story is only 162 pages long and felt rushed, and the characters, especially the lead, just fell flat for me.

At times I felt that I was missing a whole chunk of back story. This wasn’t submitted as a part of a series but the overall impression I had was that I stumbled into the middle of something that everyone else already understood.

I later discovered (On Goodreads) that this is actually book 3 in the series.  It is not listed as such on Amazon and I would suggest that in the future the author let reviewers know that this is NOT a stand alone book.  Or if he feels it is I would have to respectfully disagree.

I hope the author can take this review and add to what could definitely be a very exciting world to be a part of.

3 out of 5 stars from me.
