***Kristin – #NerdGirlSoldier’s Review***
llie and Jake have known each other most of their lives. They’ve secretly loved each other and don’t know how to tell the other how they feel. Ellie feels that she needs to move on with her life since it seems Jake would never settle down with a plus-sized woman like her. Jake dates lots of women to keep his feelings for Ellie from spilling over and to see if it’s just lust. One night changes all of their feelings and they realize what they can have together.

I love Ellie. She’s not your typical size four blond hair blue-eyed woman. She’s got curves and she rocks them, yet she’s not confident enough in herself. She thinks Jake would never want a larger woman since she’s always seen him with models. Jake is genuinely a good guy who’s in love with his best friend, but he’s afraid to show it. He’s scared of her rejection just like Ellie is afraid of his. Both characters are well developed considering that the book is less than 60 pages long.

Even though I’m only giving the book three stars, I did enjoy it. The book flowed well but I felt that it was just too short and too fast paced. I would have liked for Ellie and Jake to have had more than a one night of passion and then admitting the next day they’ve loved each other since day one. That was just a little too unrealistic for me to believe.
