Synopsis

My name is Grim and this is the beginning… This isn’t a fairytale romance or for the faint of heart. Deep in the hills of Drag Creek Kentucky, there is a group of outlaws, whose love of moonshine and Harley Davidson runs through their blood. We are known as the Black Rebel Riders’ MC. For the past twenty years my club has been at war with a rival MC, The Devil’s Rejects.

***#NerdGirlJulie’s  Review***
This is a gritty, raw, crassly realistic book.  It is either the superlative stereotype of bikers or the most realistic bad-boy biker book you will read.  While the author describes the main character, Grim, as a hot alpha male, I would describe the characters in this book as quake-in-your-boots-and-pray-you-never-meet-in-a-dark-alley types.

I found the plot compelling, but a bit edgy for me. I didn’t care for any of the characters, but I got how realistic they were being portrayed.  I have to say that the author’s depiction of the characters and biker lifestyle was amazingly well done.  Good writing, just not my thing.  Four stars for character depiction, and overall a three-star book.
