Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

***Contains Graphic Sex, Strong Language and Adult Situations. Not for young readers***

What would your first thought be if you woke up in a Vegas hotel room with a seriously hot and tatted up man? That you got really lucky last night, right? Well…add to that thought that you married this guy and you’ve got the bling to prove it on your left hand. Oh and did I mention that you have no memory of doing so? Freaked out? That’s exactly what happens to Evelyn Thomas. That’s not even the worst part. What could be worse? How about your new husband was stone cold sober when he married you and remembers every single detail, but refuses to tell you? Yeah. David Ferris, the hot, tatted, playboy rock star, feels anger and resentment towards his new wife.

Don’t get me wrong; Eve feels horrible she doesn’t remember and even offers David a way out: an annulment. Even though David agrees to it, he really doesn’t want it. He wants for Eve to remember how good they are together, and not just in the bed. David feels a connection to her that he’s never felt before and he wants to keep it. But if she doesn’t want him, he can’t force her hand…or can he?

There are twists and turns in the book that make me want to read it over and over. It’s that good. Ms Scott gives me a realistic view of the life of a rock star’s everyday life: tons of paparazzi, millions of fans (especially female fans who would give anything to have one night with David or any of the band members), the drug use by a band member, and music. She also gives you two people who on one hand know nothing about each other, yet have this strong connection that they can’t seem to let go of. Eve and David go through changes individually and as a couple that make them so much stronger than on their own. David learns that he has to let go of things in order to be with Eve, while Eve learns how to live with David’s fame. At times I didn’t think they’d make it and my heart broke. By the end of the book, I was extremely happy that they found their happily ever after. I would highly recommend you give this book a try!
