A little FAITH can get you through…

One night. That’s all Finn had with the only girl he ever loved. Years later, all he has left of that night is a silver cross, a broken give a damn, and the unrelenting desire to drink her memory away. As the lead singer of Blow Hole, Finn has his pick of women, but none are able to squash the need he still carries around for Faith. To hate her offers some relief, but when Finn sees her again after so many years, it’s hard to despise her. Especially when every reason he had to hate her, turn out to be lies.

As the daughter of a strict Baptist preacher, Faith Warren lived sheltered from all things sinful. When she met Jimmy Finn, the epitome of all seven deadly sins, she found out exactly what she was missing. After being forced to choose between her soul and the only person in the world who made her feel alive, Faith walked away from Finn and dove head first into her father’s preferred life. But now Finn’s back and he’s getting payback by wreaking havoc on her emotions. Except sometimes bad things feel good, and Faith has to decide once again if she wants to stay in her gilded cage or fly free with the dark angel of lust himself.

***Review #1***

***Shelby, #NerdGirlShelby’s Review***

Finding Faith is an awesome book. Be prepared for an emotional ride that you won’t want to get off of. Tabatha Vargo has a way of writing these characters that worm their way into your heart before you even know they’re there. You just want to shelter them but they are strong characters and even though some of their struggles are hard to read, you know that they will pull through each time and be even better because of it.

In the first 2 Blow Hole books you get a small glimpse of Finn, the lead singer. I was fully prepared to have to warm up to him. I expected him to be another hard ass with layers. The more layers the author peels away, the more you like him. I DIDN’T expect to love Finn right away. I DIDN’T expect him to be a really good guy. Finn is an amazing character. As a child he’s bounced around from foster home to foster home until finally he’s adopted and has a place to call his own. His adoptive mother is sick and even as a teenager his top priority is taking care of her. One day Finn finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up being slapped with 30 days community service for something that he didn’t do. Now he has to show up every day and help out at the very church that he was accused of vandalizing. Enter Faith. The pastor’s daughter. Finn and Faith just mesh so well together. She’s been taught her whole life to fear boys like him but she gives him a chance and they form and unlikely friendship that blossoms (and wilts) throughout the book.

Finding Faith was both tragic and uplifting at the same time. I literally went through the whole range of emotions while reading it. And really, what more could you ask of a book? You WILL laugh. You WILL cry. Trust me on this one. I was surprised to find that this was my favorite book in the series (I really loved Zeke) and even after 418 pages, I still wanted more.

I don’t know how Tabatha Vargo managed to hook me so thoroughly, but she has. My only regret with the Blow Hole series is that I read it too fast and now I have to wait to see what this amazing author comes up with next.

***Review #2***

***Jaime C, #NerdGirlJaime’s Review***

Faith is sweet and innocent, a preacher’s daughter. Finn is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. The kind of boy her father has warned her about. While Finn is doing community service at her father’s church, they can’t help falling for each other. Even at the risk of Faith’s abusive and controlling father finding out. Then everything comes crashing down around them.

Tabatha Vargo is a wonderful writer. I adored this book just as much as the first two in the series. I love the Blow Hole Boys series and this did not disappoint. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and you’ll find yourself rooting for Faith and Finn. A good girl falls for the bad boy type romance with its own little bumps and twists along the way. The story is well written and the characters are ones you’ll fall in love with. Thanks again, Ms. Vargo!
