***Review From Michele For The Nerd Girl Page ***
**I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.**
Jesca has had reoccurring nightmares since childhood but when they start to lapse over into her everyday life she starts to worry. After a conversation with her professor Ezra about wormholes and traversing through time she soon learns that she is a “Dobrian Guardian” and her purpose is to protect Earth.
Unfortunately I did not completely get into this book and it took me longer than I expected to finish. At first it was really interesting learning about Jesca and her life from the time she was adopted till now. Then about 30-35% into the book I really felt like I was back in science class. The book goes into great detail about Einstein’s theories on how to open up wormholes to other worlds. There were a lot of times during this period I kept catching myself wondering. Around 65-70% the book picked back up and took off! I would have loved the book if there was a little less science lesson I think. :( But I am still going to read the second one and give it a chance.
