Melanie here aka VampireLovingDork back with my review of Cobweb Bride which was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Cobweb Bride has to be one of the most beautifully written books I have come across if you just take into account the way the language flows. This author really knows how to describe a situation, a person, even death personified, in a way that makes you feel that you can reach out and touch the world and the people in it.
The first half of the story moves rather slowly but the writing style more than compensated (in my eyes) for the lack of progression and once things get going the book for me was almost impossible to put down.
I am thrilled that this is listed as part of a trilogy because as worlds go it is definitely one that I want to learn more about. This author has a style so unique, so breathtaking, that if her stories could just move a shade faster than she would have edged her way up to the five star mark.
Fantasy lovers everywhere will appreciate this tale.
