Take a Journey for the Greater Good in this intensely gripping, loving thriller. Join Jack Canon and his insanely loyal team of friends and family as they make their all-or-nothing run for the presidency. You’ll laugh out loud and have your heart ripped in two; all while holding your breath, sitting on the edge of your chair. You’ll become emotionally committed as you find yourself standing behind your new courageous – unstoppable heroes – forced to take unimaginable steps to reach their goal. You’ll be shocked at the heart-wrenching cost.
JACK CANON’S AMERICAN DESTINY – TO SOMEDAY HAVE THE POWER, TO DEDICATE THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND–TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. THIS TIME HE’S ALL IN.
Though this novel has got a bit of a political vibe to it, the skill of the writing made it so I enjoyed reading it. I’m not one who’s big on political books, but this had the right mix of action, suspense, and political that I continued to enjoy reading it.
The novel felt real, and didn’t feel fake or hokey in any way, though the political theme does run deep throughout, so if you’re generally really against politics, then this book isn’t for you. The writing was solid and lent a lot of creditability to the novel and made it flow really well and easy to read. I found myself reading it and not realizing that time had flown by. I was moving through this book a lot faster than other books I’ve read due to the great pace of the novel along with the interesting plot.
I’ve read a lot of thrillers, like James Patterson, or John Grisham, and this book would fit among them. Jack Cannon is quite the hero; he drives the plot and embodies what a lot of Americans are looking for in a political leader. Though I don’t always agree with politics, I don’t believe that readers of political books need to pick this book up right now, because you’ll love it. It has everything you are looking for and more.
I enjoyed reading this book, I think it was descriptive, detailed and well thought out. This really isn’t my usual genre, but I can appreciate a well written book in any genre and that is definitely it. Jack Cannon is a great hero, and he definitely is alive on the page. All around, this book wouldn’t have been my first choice, but upon reading the whole story, I can see its appeal and suggest to all those lovers of political drama, political thrillers, James Patterson and John Grisham, check this book out, because you are going to love it!
Plus, I hear there are more on the way by Greg Sandora…
