***Review From Jaime C For The Nerd Girl Page ***
*This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.*
When I was given this as an ARC and told that I wouldn’t be able to put it down, I didn’t believe it. I am a believer now!
Meet Liberty. Liberty is a good girl, she does what she’s told. She follows all the rules set for her by her parents. She wears what she’s told to wear, she drinks what is chosen for her, she eats what they want. All Liberty wants is to live up to her name. She wants freedom to be herself. To make her own decisions, to live her own life by her own rules. She wants liberty. In comes Oliver. He is everything Liberty wants but has been told she can’t have. According to her parents, he is help. He is beneath her. But to Liberty, Oliver is that freedom she has been looking for.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the chemistry between Oliver and Liberty. His friends are a laugh. I loved that they cared for Liberty because Oliver does. I loved that Oliver gave Liberty the courage to believe in herself and her dreams to live life on her own terms. I found her parents and her sister overbearing and so full of themselves. And Andrew, what an arrogant, hateful man! I wanted to reach into the book and beat the snot out of him! This book made me laugh and it made me cry. It made me believe in the power of friendship and how love can change your life. Definitely a 5 star read!
