**Review By Mark – The Other Guy from The Nerd Girl Page**

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
Although I am sure that this book was intended for younger readers, like 7+ I thoroughly enjoyed it. With its Narnia like characters, with a generous splash of Despereaux, and a dash of Nihm it captured my imagination much the way it did my children.
The main character, a dormouse who sees himself as completely insignificant in the grand scheme of things dreams of high adventure that he actually, to some extent manages to achieve. By uniting clans and vanquishing foes, in the end becomes the hero of his dreams!
I read this story to my children, and their reaction was awesome, sitting bright eyed dreaming of fairy tales and dragons! On the edge of their seat desperate to know what was going to happen next. This is what a children’s book SHOULD be like!
I fully believe this is a first rate book, for young and older alike. It helps to teach children to dream big, and always try to achieve goals over insurmountable odds! And as for the older readers I think they will enjoy the more whimsical aspect and who knows maybe it will inspire them to find their inner child once more, the child that so easily gets lost these days in the fast paced tv world we live in.
For its colorful and articulate story, overall brilliance, and amazing price point I give it 5 stars!! And anxiously await the sequel!!
